Well, for Sue she feels gulity and doesn't want to telll bceause she has some saying in this situation.

Betsy, she feels that it would mess up her reputation.

As for Mark and Jeff, they don't care how it affects them.

well all of the students in this story talk to there parents and have a good relationship with them.the relationships are crucial because if the students had a bad relationship then they would be bad all the time.

Susan and her parents are like normal parents. They know things about there kid and some things they have yet to find out. Mark and his kin are not so close. He’s always gone with Jeff and hanging out coming in late. His relationship with his dad was a wreck. He was going to turn him in. Jeff doesn’t spend time with his peoples either. He’s always working on cars or going to practice. Or he’s with Mark. Betsy is cool with her dad but mostly because her dad has power and is known and famous. (Sort of) David is cool with his peoples but his mom bugs him about stuff like where he’s going and why he’s going and his grandma is aggravating. Their relationships with their parents create suspense as different events in the story come to pass.

they all have a good relationship with their parents and it is crutial because if the parents had a bad relationship because they found out what they did then they would snitch and they wouldnt care whether they go to jail for life or not.

The students relationship with their parents are not the same as it gets towareds the end of the story at the begining they really didnt are to much for them but as the book got toward the end of the story they were scared so they started to look at them as real parents that they needed and they wanted their advice on what to do about the mr.griffen situation.

Most of them are not so close to their mother’s. But Sue’s parents are like other family’s normal. On the other hand mark wasn’t to close to his daddy but not really formed to his mother. But the other’s Jeff in besty like go their on ways don’t really hand with their parents.
